The anatomy of an image prompt
Think like a photographer’s brief. Subject and action say what is in frame. Setting says where and when. Medium decides whether it is a photo, a painting or a render. Light sets most of the mood. Camera (lens, angle, distance) sets the composition. Palette ties it together. Leave one out and the model fills it with its most average guess.

Which image models is this for?
Models that understand natural sentences: Flux, OpenAI’s GPT Image and DALL·E, Google Imagen, Ideogram, Recraft and Adobe Firefly. For Midjourney’s parameters or Stable Diffusion’s weights and negatives, use the dedicated builders.
Sentences or keywords?
Modern image models with large language-model text encoders (Flux, GPT Image, Imagen) follow full sentences better than keyword lists. Describe the scene as you would to a photographer: subject, action, setting, style, light, framing, mood.
Can I get readable text in the image?
Newer models render short text well. Put the exact words in quotes and keep them short. The builder adds a “legible lettering” instruction when you fill in the text field.
Can CraftPrompts generate the image itself?
